FRUITFUL RELATIONSHIP

Henties Juices Cape CC was founded in 1998 by Hentie and Maryke de Wet and Nico Burden. Initially the juice was supplied to small shops and cafes in Stellenbosch and to shopping malls like Tygervalley and N1 City. From a small range of two flavours, Henties Juices now produces 13 different flavours.

Increased demand for their product resulted in a new and bigger production plant being built in 2006, fitted with modern bottling facilities. The plant serves Henties juice and concentrates needs while the still and flavoured water products are bottled at Oaklands Farm, Wellington.

Extensive marketing resulted in offices and depots in George, Pretoria and Kroonstad. Port Elizabeth was then also added as a distribution base. Henties products can now be found all along the West Coast, throughout the Western Cape, Southern Cape and Karoo regions as well as Gauteng. Henties Juices are now looking to penetrate Namibia.

The Henties Juices - Nuvision relationship extends to 1991, when Pieter Rossouw and Hentie de Wet played rugby for Boland and later worked together at a sports shop in Stellenbosch during their studies. Arnold du Piesanie played old boy's rugby with Nico Burden at Durbanville.

According to Pieter Rossouw, Henties Juices must be one of the fastest growing brands in SA.
