SPURRED ON

Nuvision's Arnold du Piesanie has been looking after the insurance of Charles Hamman's Silverbay Spur since 1999. The introduction was made by John Hamman, the brother of Charles and also a key member of the Pointbreak business, which is an indirect shareholder of Nuvision. John and Arnold had also played rugby together. Typical of Arnold's business relationships, he also considers Charles to be a friend.

"The Silverbay Spur occupies a wonderful spot, practically on the beach and overlooking the West Coast shoreline. Brands such as the Spur have inspired Nuvision to work hard in developing their own brand, looking at attributes like consistency, quality and creating that special sense of caring and belonging.

"Charles has the strength of the Spur brand behind him but ultimately it is up to him to create the magic and vibe in his Spur franchise. It all gets down to the people behind the brand.
