This ultimate canine security company was established in 2000 due to the increase in bomb related crimes in the Western Cape, South Africa and all over world. Hennie Geldenhuys and Willie Ackerman, both former members of the SAPS (South African Police Services) with over 49 years experience of explosives dogs training and handling between them, decided the time was right for just such a business. As a result Umkhuseli Security cc was born.

Arnold du Piesanie and Nuvision have managed Umkhuseli's insurance needs since 2007. Hennie Geldenhuys and Arnold know each other well through Western Province Wrestling and they have been friends for 30 years.
